GOVERNMENT PENSION PLANS

You may be eligible for pension benefits under the Canada Pension Plan (payable as early as age 60) and Old Age Security Act (currently payable at age 65). These benefits are in addition to those you receive from this Plan.

CANADA PENSION PLAN

The Canada Pension Plan provides pension, disability and survivor income benefits. These benefits are in addition to the benefit received from the Plan.

You should apply for this benefit at least three months before you wish your pension to commence.

OLD AGE SECURITY

The Old Age Security pension is payable in addition to the benefit received from the Plan.

You should apply for this benefit at least six months before your 65th birthday, as receipt of this benefit is not automatic.
